Small Space Gardening

Colourful plant pots

Gardening is something that people stereotype to wonderful huge plots of land with hundreds of flowers; however that doesn’t always have to be the case. In fact we can garden almost anywhere, no matter how big your back or front yards are, or whether you have no soil what so ever you can still do a bit!

In this article I intend to prove to you that gardening can be done almost anywhere including small spaces.

No soil? It doesn’t matter

If you live in an apartment or the inner city you may suffer from not having any soil or even a garden what so ever, however this doesn’t mean you have to miss out. So many people have fallen under this illusion that therefore they cannot grow any vegetables or plants or even any herbs, well you can and the main way to do so is through container gardening.

Container gardening is no more difficult than it sounds in fact it is really easy. All you need are some containers and soil and you are on your way. This method was brought to life through those who had a strong desire to garden yet so little room, or those who needed to grow their own herbs for example but had no soil.

Simply by growing your plants in these containers on your window sills, on your balconies or even on your porch you can garden just as you normally would in little spaces, what a great idea!

However there is a great misconception when it comes to small space gardening as so many people believe that vegetables especially need 6 – 8 hours of direct sunlight each and every day, yet this is not the case.

After research has showed that some vegetables can grow with light and room restrictions, which mean you, have no excuse not to garden what so ever!

If benefits are obvious when it comes to small space gardening as for those of us who just don’t have the time to spend making our garden the best it could possibly be.
